CSHQA is pleased to announce that on October 21, 2011, a ground-breaking ceremony was held at the corner of Broadway Ave. and Myrtle St. where Boise’s first Whole Foods Market will be constructed. CSHQA has been working with Austin,
TX-based Schlosser Development, the Whole Foods Markets team and general contractor Engineered
Structures, Inc. (ESI) to make this project a reality.
The new 36,000-SF natural and organic foods store will be part of the Broadway and Front mixed-use development that will also include a 15,000-SF Walgreens. In a future phase, an additional 20,000 SF of retail space, 250 structured parking stalls and 100,000 SF of office/residential space will be added on the site. The project will clean up almost six acres of fallow land at one of the entrances to downtown Boise.
