A former Office Depot in Boise’s BoDo district has been transformed into the Treefort Music Hall, a versatile 15,000-square-foot venue. A complete redesign of the floor plan and structural support systems ensures all 1,000+ seats offer an excellent view. The addition of the Hap Hap Lounge rooftop bar provides a perfect gathering spot for pre- and post-concert events, featuring craft cocktails and stunning city views.

CSHQA provided architectural, mechanical, and electrical engineering for the renovation, which was completed in three phases: office space and amenities, stage and main music hall, and finally, the lounge. ADA-compliant features, including ramps and lifts, were also integrated throughout the venue.

The project exceeds expectations, with personal touches and attention to detail evident in everything from the etching on glassware to the consistent signage and color scheme. This success is partly due to the vision and thoughtfulness Treefort contributed throughout the design process. Collaboration with partners like Classic Design Studios further enhanced the design aesthetic and craftsmanship.

Innovative design and modern technology create a venue suitable for concerts, award shows, and large gatherings. This project is just one of many completed by Jordan-Wilcomb and CSHQA. Our history of collaboration played a vital role in the success of this outstanding property reuse and redevelopment effort.
