Loretta Sheridan is an Architectural Specifications Writer in CSHQA’s Boise office. She has worked in the A/E/C industry for twenty years. Though Loretta initially fell into writing specifications, she discovered that the field appeals to both her inner obsessive-compulsiveness and love of research. She became a dedicated specifications writer over five years ago and has worked in a wide range of sectors including healthcare, K-12, retail, higher education, hospitality, multifamily, recreation, military, as well as on LEED, Green Globes, and WELL Building projects. “I love the variety!”
Prior to joining CSHQA, Loretta worked on the inspiring “We Are Sharing Hope” project in Charleston, SC. “This incredible client is South Carolina’s federally designated Organ Procurement Organization, facilitating organ and tissue donations across the state. A portion of the project includes a memorial to the people who were organ and tissue donors. It was a fantastic design process and will be a beautiful building. It was wonderful to be part of a project that will have a deep and lasting impact on so many people.”
Loretta discovered an interest in genealogical research when learning more about her great-grandfather, a New York City police detective killed in the line of duty. She records her husband’s music (available on SoundCloud) and films and edits his music videos (available on YouTube!). She also loves her four-legged, furry family: two dogs, Pearl and Whiskey, and a cat, Anisette.
