CSHQA was hired to design the new home of Marie Callender’s in Meridian’s Pine 43 development. The client requested a departure from the traditional look and feel of the brand’s guidelines and chose a more modern and innovative design. This was an exciting project for the team to work on because it is the only Marie Callender’s business in the Treasure Valley after the last location closed in 2018; now residents in the area have access to consistently delicious and reliable bakes.
The architecture team worked closely with the owner to create a floorplan that optimized the front of house and coordinated with the kitchen equipment provider to ensure the back of house was functional with a proper amount of space for the kitchen equipment and other necessary components. CSHQA’s architects completed the interior of the building, while the CSHQA engineering team provided HVAC and plumbing services. The design team remained available throughout the construction phase for site visits and to answer any questions that came up in the field.
CSHQA provided architectural, mechanical engineering, and interior design services. CSHQA’s interior design team led in the selection and procurement of the restaurant’s furniture.
