The Springs Apartments win Smart Growth Award

Nov 10, 2011

CSHQA is pleased to announce that our recently completed project, The Springs apartment complex, in McCall, ID is being honored by Idaho Smart Growth with a 2011 Grow Smart Award. The annual awards “recognizes the innovative work of communities, builders, planners, architects, organizations, and developers whose work exemplifies smart growth principles,” according to the organization’s web site.

The CSHQA team worked closely with The Housing Company and the city of McCall to develop The Springs, which is an affordable, residential-housing project, constructed of durable materials using innovative sustainable design principles. The complex, which consists of one- and two-story structures, has three residential buildings that contain a total of 36 living units (a mixture of studio; one-bedroom; two-bedroom and three-bedroom apartments). There is an additional shared facility with an office, exercise room, laundry, gathering space and accessible rest rooms.
