On October 7, 2008, the City of Fairfield, CA presented CSHQA with 2006-2007 Design Awards in several categories including: Site Planning, Landscaping, Architecture, Building Conservation and Public Art for the Pony Express Business Park project located in Fairfield. The original historic building was incorporated into the landscaping of a common area forming a meandering dry creek with indigenous plants, arbor and fountains at both ends of the site.
