Tyler Bassett has been sketching buildings for as long as he can remember. “Long before I even knew what the word architect meant, I knew that’s what I wanted to become.” Building and design run in his blood—his dad built houses with his grandfather, and some of Tyler’s earliest memories are helping make cabinets in their garage. “Those moments showed me how creativity and craftsmanship come together, and they sparked the passion that’s guided me ever since.”
He brings nearly a decade of experience in multi-family housing, healthcare, industrial, and commercial projects to the firm. As an Architectural Designer, Tyler thrives on exploring designs and collaborating with the team. He uses Adobe programs, SketchUp, and hand sketching to support the Director of Design (Alicia Johannesen) with design-related efforts.
Before joining CSHQA, Tyler worked on construction documents for 25+ story apartment buildings in Denver’s Golden Triangle area
Outside the office, Tyler stays active at the gym and enjoys walking around downtown when the weather cooperates. “It’s my way to disconnect for a moment while staying fit.”
