Michele Otazua has been with CSHQA since she graduated college nearly 25 years ago. She started in the print room, developing plans on the light table and making office deliveries, but an opportunity to work as an admin on an architectural design team broadened her horizons. She began taking a close look at contracts, which has blossomed into a deep knowledge of operations: negotiations, compliance, accounting, and much more.

Today, as CSHQA’s Operations Manager, she leads a team of talented and dedicated admins in managing a seemingly infinite variety of activities to keep the firm smoothly moving forward.

Michele is driven by her strong work ethic and need to help others, but she has a lot of fun, too: She spends time with her family on road trips or at Basque festivals and activities, and looks forward to travels to the Basque Country in Europe to visit her family.
