Marissa Ortega, SHRM-CP, is an HR generalist in CSHQA’s Boise office and is often the first person employees call. Whether it’s a benefits question, a payroll issue, a recruiting inquiry, a locked-out account, or “Where do I find this?” Marissa is the go-to person. She treats employees like her clients, and the work comes down to communication: listen first, then solve the problem.
Her path at CSHQA spans eight years. She started at the front desk, moved into contract support for the architecture and engineering teams, then stepped into human resources and found the career she wanted to build. Her guiding rule is simple: “If you don’t ask, how would you know?”
Outside the office, Marissa spends time with her family at the lake, keeps up with her son, and is always ready to try a new restaurant.
