For Jose Gallegos, architecture isn’t just about space. It’s about feeling. He’s always been intrigued by the connection humans have with their environments, and as an Architect he is interested in cultivating modern design that creates tactile experiences.
Jose has been with CSHQA since graduating from the University of Idaho in 2014, and his most recent project is a restaurant in Eagle, Idaho, called Crave. He’s learned a lot about the fluidity of the design process and how it can shift, form, reshape, and affect a building’s identity.
He continues to create in his off hours, working with digital and analog media– exploring the line between the two– integrating technical drawings or watercolor paintings.
