Jeff Peterson, Senior Architect III, brings three decades of design experience across civic, higher education, transportation and hospitality industries to the firm. His architectural journey began in a 6th-grade art class, sketching his first two-point perspective of city buildings. He also found a bit of inspiration from Mike Brady, TV’s most famous architect.
Today, he guides projects from initial design through construction documents, detailing, and coordination with engineering consultants, while also developing working relationships with the Contractor and Owner during construction administration.
What motivates Jeff? Working with amazing people who truly care for and respect each other.
Before CSHQA, Jeff helped develop nearly a dozen fire stations, projects he found especially rewarding. Creating a work/home place for emergency responders, while working with people in a service-related profession, struck a meaningful chord.
When he’s not designing, Jeff enjoys woodworking (making gifts for family and friends), Saturday morning coffee dates with his wife, or leisurely bike rides.
