Isaiah Christy

Mechanical EIT

Isaiah Christy began his career as a welder and really enjoys working with his hands. In college, his natural affinity for mechanical design led him away from his original major, electrical engineering. He switched to mechanical engineering in the spring of his freshman year, with an emphasis in mechanical design. After graduation he worked in oil and gas processing which sparked a new interest in energy systems.

Isaiah, a Mechanical EIT assists with mechanical/HVAC systems design. His skills include 3D modeling in different aspects of engineering including building systems, mechanical design, and design for manufacturing. Contributing to the team is important to Isaiah. “If my efforts can help carry the load of a project, that is a job well done.”

Prior to joining CSHQA, Isaiah designed ski lift components for Bald Eagle Lifts. Some of his designs are currently featured in Lake Tahoe, California and across Idaho. “I am proud that a model I issued for manufacture, and personally designed, is in use at a major skiing destination.”

In his downtime, Isaiah enjoys woodworking and metalworking projects. He also teaches catechesis to middle school kids and runs a fraternity for Catholic men.
