Elissa Wheeler

Administrative Manager

Elissa Wheeler’s journey into construction and design administration began with family advocacy, nonprofit leadership, and seven years spent learning to keep complex projects and the people behind them moving forward.

Her career began as a support broker for Idaho families navigating services for children with disabilities. That work, conducted in partnership with the State of Idaho, sharpened her instincts for coordination, clear communication, and building trust across a wide range of people and organizations. It also inspired her to help establish a local nonprofit that provided STEM resources and support to educators in the community. When her children started school, she applied those skills to construction and design, advancing into leadership and management roles.

As Administrative Manager at CSHQA, Elissa tracks the details that keep projects and people aligned. She collaborates effectively, brings strong attention to detail, and communicates with clarity and intention. Whether handling high-priority initiatives or offering support where needed, Elissa approaches her work with consistency, integrity, and a commitment to building trust. Colleagues describe Elissa as personable, loyal, and genuinely invested in those around her. She’s known for active listening, honest communication, and follow-through that builds real trust over time.

Outside the office, Elissa is remodeling a historic home with her husband and two boys. They love getting hands-on in every aspect, from planning and construction to finding unique pieces at estate sales. She loves music and the performing arts and recently challenged herself to get back into roller skating. She’ll tell you it’s a work in progress.
