Daniel Hardesty came to architecture by way of a lifelong interest in art and design—and a sharp eye for how a well-drafted document functions in the field. As an Architectural Drafter in CSHQA’s Boise office, he works on construction documents with a focus on clarity and precision: drawings that are technically accurate and easy for anyone on the project team to read and act on.
Daniel is completing his drafting program at the College of Western Idaho, building proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, and BIM workflows. He holds certifications in AutoCAD and SolidWorks and brings that technical fluency to fast-paced production environments—including a stretch when he stepped in to clear a backlog of redlines on a project with a next-day deadline.
Ask his colleagues what it’s like to work with Daniel, and they’ll tell you the office is a better place with him in it—that the team genuinely has fun, learns together, and communicates well. That collaborative instinct runs deep: Daniel played midfield on a soccer scholarship at Walla Walla Community College, helping lead his team to the East Region Championship. Outside the office, he still competes in community races and takes any opportunity to be outdoors.
