Carrick Boshart, Director of Operations at CSHQA, brings over 30 years of architecture and operations expertise to the firm. He has always drawn inspiration from futuristic and minimalist spaces, whether in private homes or public buildings, curious about the story behind their design. His work philosophy centers on innovation and creative problem-solving, with a talent for simplifying complex operations and building consensus. Carrick makes day-to-day work at CSHQA more efficient while keeping profitability and strategic growth at the forefront.
Nothing energizes Carrick more than being part of a high-functioning team that delivers amazing projects in a positive, respectful environment. He thrives on success stories and “surprising” co-workers and clients with good news on projects, whatever form that might take! His proudest professional achievement is the Brentwood Civic Center—a vibrant city hall and community center that took four years to design and build, and completely changed that block of downtown, as well as created a modern government center that the citizens are proud of. He also has a special fondness for the Gauche Aquatic Center, with its “cool” design (to use his favorite technical term). Outside of work, Carrick enjoys woodworking, painting, and spending time with his wife and adult children. A lifelong learner and adventurer, he finds joy in international travel, alpine hikes, scuba diving, skiing, racquetball, and cheering on his favorite Premier League soccer teams—Go Arsenal and Newcastle!
