When Aylin Badillo was younger, her school required her to join a club, so she decided to dive into Architectural Design. She quickly developed a passion for the field by completing drawings, drafting, and models. Since then, she’s maintained a clear goal of becoming an architect.
As an AIT in CSHQA’s Sacramento office, Aylin assists the team on various projects, from schematic design and design development to construction documents. She also attends meetings and collaborates with other team members, selecting and labeling material.
Aylin takes immense pride in a public bookstore project she completed during college. She successfully showcased the importance of feminism while combining it with her love for architecture, creating a meaningful and impactful project.
Outside of architecture, she enjoys spending time with her family because anything they do together is always a great time!
