The two-story, 76,000 sf Eagle Health Plaza presented unique challenges to the design/build team of CSHQA and ESI. The site was actually two properties with two owners and investment packages. The design had to provide a uniform exterior appearance with separate spaces for tenant improvement build-outs and leasing while creating shared amenities in lobbies and public spaces.
The project focused on creating a calming and restful atmosphere through décor elements that reflect nature, a proven method to enhance health, healing, and quality of life. A central healing environment lobby connects with an external meditation garden. The state-of-the-art medical office building incorporates corporate branding influences and meets specific governing agency zoning codes.
As part of the Saint Alphonsus Health System, Eagle Health Plaza provides healthcare services to patients with routine, chronic, or acute conditions, giving them access to emergency, medical, surgical and rehabilitation specialists and the latest medical technologies.
The project was completed in phases from the shell and core to various tenant improvements, including a number of physician offices, a pharmacy, an ambulatory surgery center, and the first free-standing emergency department in Idaho.
