C.W. Moore Plaza is an 8-story mixed use tower designed for office use on the upper floors with potential for mixed use, office, and/or retail on the ground floor.
CSHQA provided complete architecture/engineering services for the core and shell of the C.W. Moore Plaza, as well as interior design services for most of the tenants. C.W. Moore is sensitive to its environment, while reflecting the character of its surroundings. Complementing the historic and mixed use nature of the area, the building features sandstone and brick—materials that are most strongly expressed along the building’s pedestrian level.
The building starts from a base of heavy sandstone and transitions to brick with facades of green-tinted glazing. The main entry is strongly articulated with red steel columns, trim and entry canopies. The building raises eight stories to a lightweight trellis-type framework of burgundy steel members, defining the cornice and reflecting the detailing around the base of the building.
Shared building amenities include a 2,400 sf conference center, rooftop terrace/dining area with food service, and main floor lobby with concierge services.
