Yi Liao, AIA

Project Architect II

Yi grew up living in and helping to maintain a mountain cabin with his father. This experience led him to pursue structure and architecture. Now a Project Architect II in CSHQA’s Boise office he is involved with design, documentation, and coordination of all aspects of a project from schematic design through construction administration. Simplistic design and well-thought-out detail inspire Yi. He finds collaboration with a talented team and effective communication between all parties especially important.

Yi brings eight years of professional experience to the firm including K-12 education and residential projects. Prior to joining CSHQA, he worked on the Boise Fire Station No. 5 project, an office and school remodel for Twin Falls School District and a 10-unit townhome development.

Outside of work Yi and his wife love hiking and camping with their two dogs.
