Tristan Van Slyke, a Senior Project Manager in CSHQA’s Boise office, assists the project team in achieving project goals, communicating the design intent to the client, and developing construction documents for the contractor. He accomplishes this through an understanding of the latest industry technology, leveraging those tools to elevate the content and accuracy of the design. Tristan strives to find solutions to the problems that we face as a project team. He is most interested in developing and refining CSHQA’s workflow to deliver projects at the highest level possible within the budget and timeframe allowed.

Tristan practiced art from a very young age, starting with drawing maps and battle scenes of Desert Storm. As a teenager, thinking about his potential career path, he knew that he did not want to be a “starving artist”. At the same time, he realized that he had an awareness of the structures around him and a keen attention to detail. This is what inspired him to pursue Architecture.

In Tristan’s free time he enjoys the creative process, learning technique and methodology and then implementing with great attention to detail at a high level of quality. He exercises his creativity through woodworking, home improvement project and graphic design. He loves an array of outdoor activities including speeding around on his motorcycle or snowboard. Most importantly he loves spending time with his family, enjoying good food and drink with his wife or playing with his kids and being a part of their growth and development.
