Tom Wakeland is an Accountant in CSHQA’s Boise office.  He is responsible for a wide assortment of accounting tasks, including general ledger bookkeeping, accounts receivable tracking, accounts payable processing and project-related accounting support.  Tom’s father, who is an Accountant, is his biggest role model.  He spent a great deal of time going with him to the office when he was growing up.  As they say, the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree!

Tom enjoys a good challenge and feels that balance is the most important item in his line of work. He brings logic, organization, and a healthy dose of analytical thinking to everything he does.  In his previous job, he specialized on the revenue cycle for the Iowa Interstate Railroad, and was given the opportunity to create a work flow process for an area of revenue called Car Repair Billing.  He also succeeded in simplifying data regarding commodity traffic so that the marketing team could focus their efforts more efficiently.

Tom loves all sports, both playing and watching.  He is also happy spending time with his girlfriend and their cat.
