Nick Buckley has always had an interest for designing, building, and working with his hands. He started out learning Drafting, and Architecture seemed like the next step. Nick is working as an Architect-in-Training Intern in CSHQA’s Boise office. He loves to 3D print and enjoys working in Photoshop and SketchUp. He is also well versed in Revit and AutoCAD, which he utilizes daily.
Nick loves witnessing a project develop from start to finish, seeing how far things have progressed, and realizing how much he learned along the way. “The feeling of completion at the end of a project is amazing,” he says. He finds CSHQA’s Capitol restoration work interesting and thinks it’s incredible to see something old and cherished so well preserved.
Nick considers himself a family man. He enjoys spending time with his wife and is excited to begin building their own family together. A few of his hobbies outside of work include: bodybuilding/weightlifting, sketching and glass blowing.
