Kirill Aleksandrov is a Senior Architectural Designer at CSHQA.  He recently joined the firm to pursue his goal of becoming a licensed architect. He has exposure to residential and a wide range of commercial projects in Silicon Valley with background in project management, leading cross-functional teams through the entire project lifecycle.

For Kirill, architecture is a perfect blend of form and function with an opportunity for a positive impact on the physical environment and how people go about their daily lives. He values ownership and providing thoughtful design that can be implemented within the project constraints.

On one of Kirill’s first projects he ended up being a designer, project manager and an end user – involvement in multiple roles provided a rare visibility of some unique challenges associated with each of the roles, which taught him the importance of an open feedback loop with all stakeholders – he has been using this technique ever since.

Whenever Kirill has a chance, his go-to is mountain biking – it’s great sport and even better community.
