Jackson Goss

Project Manager / Associate

After recognizing his strength in math and science, Jackson Goss says it was his teachers and mentors who encouraged him to study engineering. He was able to turn this talent into his career when he got his degree in Environmental Engineering—a discipline that could be applied to every aspect of everyday life. Jackson spent 12 years serving in the Air Force service and got an inside perspective into how the military and federal government design and build construction projects. It also allowed him to work on projects around the world and interact with different building techniques employed in areas outside of the U.S.

A Project Manager and an Associate with CSHQA, Jackson manages projects from conception through completion. He oversees the design team throughout the entire process, which involves many different moving parts, and ensures the design documents arrive on time and in excellent condition. Whether a renovation or a new construction build, Jackson says he loves seeing all his projects come to life and helping his clients realize this potential.

He is especially proud of his involvement with Engineering Ministries International (EMI) where he helped to develop Master Plans for orphanages and schools in India and Africa; being able to give back to the community and connect with such a meaningful project was extremely rewarding. “Building sustainably has always been a passion. Being good stewards with materials selection and the overall project is important to me.”

In his spare time, Jackson loves spending time with his family, biking on the Greenbelt, or playing in his backyard. During the summer months, he loves vegetable gardening or working on a variety of DIY projects.
