Eric Peterson, LEED AP

Architect I

Eric Peterson has always enjoyed drawing and has a good grasp of mathematics. He decided to pursue architecture because he figured those two tasks being so different would help break up the days. Now an Architect in CSHQA’s Boise office, he brings 14 years construction management experience to the firm, answering owner and contractor questions throughout construction ensuring projects are constructed per the documentation.

With 20+ years’ experience as an Architect, Eric has worked on numerous office, retail, residential, restaurant, medical, government and industrial projects. He is particularly proud of his work on the Anne Frank Human Rights Memorial project in Boise because it’s meaning is greater than the built environment. He is also proud of an addition for Spirit Airline Factory on a U-shaped site located between three other buildings. It was challenging because each building had roofs converging into the area, yet he was able to get all water to drain onto the addition roof and away from the site.

Outside of work Eric likes gardening, keeping his yard colorful and painting landscapes (flowers), usually in watercolor.
