David Blenker started in sustainable design long before it was standard. During his senior year in high school, his architectural drafting instructor paired him with a local architect who was looking for help. David began working on projects that were then at the fringe of design, including passive solar rammed-earth homes. His love for the environment and responsible design has continued to this day.
David is responsible for project management, design, construction documents, specifications, and construction administration. His work spans many industries, including residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional. He has been involved in two significant recent CSHQA projects, the Idaho State Capitol restoration and the Boise Airport Terminal expansion and improvements.
David still enjoys the environment around him whenever possible, through walks, hikes, cycling, hunting, fishing, camping, and archery.
