Ben Millick, an Architect-in-Training at the Boise office, is starting his career on the right foot—he’s part of the group working on the Inn at 500, a project that is helping to reshape the city’s downtown core. Ben’s dad is a contractor and his mother works at Franklin Building Supply, so he has been around the building and construction industry his whole life. Architecture ties that knowledge together with Ben’s love of art, photography, and design, and led him to his degree from the University of Idaho.

He has been honored by the Idaho Concrete Masonry Association for a student library project in Boise’s Bown Crossing neighborhood, and he’s proficient at sketching, watercolor, hand drafting, Revit, Photoshop, and other design software programs that help bring ideas to life. As an intern, he’s looking forward to learning about the professional side of the architecture world.

Ben comes from a large family of Idaho Vandals and loves the school’s football team, no matter how its season is going. He’s also an avid traveler who spent the summer of 2015 in Rome.
