Airport managers know that today’s traveler is savvier and better informed than those of just a few years ago, and when choosing between airports for connecting or destination, service matters. Food, beverages, shops and specialty services play an important role in airport revenue – as much as 10% of all airport revenue, based on national surveys.
San Jose Airport is updating and building new restaurants to keep their offer fresh and appealing to their consumers. CSHQA worked with Pacific Gateway Concessions to provide architecture and engineering design services for five renovated or new restaurants.
Projects include a mix of local and national, quick serve and table service for First Class Deli, Flames Eatery & Bar, Jamba Juice, Peet’s Coffee & Tea and a food court (Pizza My Heart, Leboulanger Bakery, The Brit).
