In 2006, Milan Properties bought the ailing Karcher Mall, originally built in the 1960s. Based on tremendous growth in the Treasure Valley, the new owners felt that with renovations the mall could once again be a shopping destination and attract new tenants.  The renovation of the mall has included the Karcher Gateway Building, Burlington Coat Factory TI, and updated exterior walls, signage and the addition of a unifying cornice element along the length of the building.  In addition to these outdoor improvements, the interior of the mall’s adjacent and primary lobby are part of the major expansion and remodel.
