Want to get John Ziel fired up? Tell him a project is impossible. You’ll soon find him tackling it head on.
His favorite challenge was the sprung dome structures at Tamarack Resort, a project with an incredibly tight timeline and a tough list of demands—but the end result was worth the sweat and effort. As an Engineering Designer with more than 20 years of architectural experience, John specializes in the behind-the-scenes machinery that makes buildings come to life: mechanical load calculations, duct layouts, and plumbing designs.
John is a hiker, a traveler, and a pursuer of oddities who is equally at home exploring a faraway destination or lounging on a beach.
