A textile and exercise fanatic, Jenny constantly explores new routes in both design concepts and running trails. She also frequently adopts and cares for vintage and orphaned furniture pieces or experiments with textile designs in her home, which doubles as a design laboratory.
For her design process Jenny uses various mediums in the hunt for trends, material application, and graphic illustration. You can find the office’s community markers and colored pencils stationed on her desk, as well as dozens of internet browser tabs opened to design blogs and manufacturer’s websites (coworkers often stare in shock and bewilderment at the number of open tabs). She’s especially thrilled when she or others find innovative ways to challenge traditional design.
“I get fired up when my team comes together and finds common ground for inspiration across a range of different design ideas and backgrounds.”
