Erik Anderson was a ski racer as a child, and his competitions took him to far-flung corners of the globe: Canada and Chile, Italy and Austria. Everywhere he went, he soaked up the diverse architecture and scenery that still informs his work as a landscape architect.
As an Architect in Training with CSHQA, he handles site analysis, schematic design, design development and construction documents for commercial developments. His most recent project, the Inn at 500, includes a sculpture of an abstract tree in homage to the cottonwoods that line the Boise River.
Erik competed at a very high level, pursuing a spot on the U.S. Ski Team for several years, and credits his time on the slopes with molding him into the person he is today.
