Diego Gondim owes his career to his mom’s home renovation plans. At 16, she gave him the opportunity to design his room the way he wanted, leading him to create his first-ever floor plan. With the help of the architect who was working on the project, he followed the plan from idea to sketch and beyond—and wound up hooked.

As an intern in the CSHQA Denver office, Diego is working on everything from code analysis to construction documents. He has a special passion for LEED construction and has experience with multi-family apartments.

Diego is originally from Brasilia, Brazil, and is excited to adapt his hometown love of longboarding to the slopes of Colorado. He’s also a member of urbansketchers.org, a site where people share their drawings online, so you’ll always find him toting a trusty sketchbook to capture his ideas.
