Martin A. Hahle, AIASenior Associate With extensive experience in aviation facilities and office buildings, Martin’s design solutions have successfully influenced the outcome of many projects. His responsibilities include project management of the design team from start to finish including interaction and coordination with owners, regulatory agencies, consultants and contractors. Martin received his Master in Architecture degree from the University of Nebraska and joined the firm in 1993. He became a stockholder in 1998. Jeffrey A. Shneider, AIAPresident Jeff believes that because everyone involved in a project has a vested interest, a holistic approach of the requirements is necessary. Teamwork is crucial. His ability to lead the team—interacting with clients and translating their needs to the designers—results in successful projects. Jeff’s leadership ensures procedures, resources and schedules are maintained to deliver award-winning results. Jeff began his career with CSHQA in 1974 and has been a principal stockholder since 1977. Kent A. Hanway, AIAExecutive Vice President Board of Directors Kent’s leadership of CSHQA’s management and project teams is key. As principal in charge of major projects, including shopping centers nationwide, Kent has organized numerous multi-disciplinary project teams. He oversees projects from site evaluation and design development through construction and final occupancy. His extensive knowledge in the process allows for effective coordination among project stakeholders and the design team. Kent joined the firm in 1985 and became a principal stockholder in 1993. J. Larry Kalousek, AIATreasurer - Board of Directors A principal stockholder since 1992, Larry offers clients comprehensive construction knowledge and innovative design techniques, enabling him to consistently deliver quality projects within budget and schedule requirements. Larry has extensive experience in working with large numbers of user groups and is able to facilitate discussion and creative resolutions to move projects forward. Backed by years of diverse project experience, Larry has an extensive background in aviation. He joined the firm in 1988. Richard F. Sinnard, AIAPrincipal - Board of Directors Rick has a vast amount of experience managing a variety of complex retail and prototypical design projects. He is responsible for project management from start to finish including interactions with owners, regulatory agencies, consultants and contractors. His communication, creativity, and ability to realize efficiencies in maintaining established budgets, brings him many satisfied repeat clients. Joining the firm in 1990, Rick became a principal stockholder in 1999. Patrizia Morgan Norberg, AIASenior Associate Patty is responsible for supervising other project managers and coordinating projects between clients, consultants, governmental agencies and in-house staff. Patty’s experience with fast-paced, sophisticated retail clients makes her an expert at delivering quality projects. She works closely with owners, consultants, contractors and regulatory agencies to coordinate projects in various stages of completion across the United States. Patty joined the firm in 1988 and became a stockholder in 1999. Mark G. Gier, AIASenior Associate As an architect and project manager, Mark focuses on complete document set assembly and coordination among all disciplines involved. Such expert coordination is necessary for delivery of error-free documents on schedule. Managing the design and planning efforts for a variety of projects, his experience varies in size and scope, but mainly focuses on educational facilities, military facilities and recreational housing. Mark joined the firm in 1990 and became a stockholder in 1999. Teresa F. Preston, AIASenior Associate Teresa has managed numerous design teams for a variety of new, remodeled and tenant improvement projects. Working with a team, she coordinates the design process for all day-to-day activities, providing solutions for each project and client’s needs. Teresa received her Bachelors in Architecture from the University of Oregon and joined CSHQA in 1995 where she has completed many projects, such as health care and corporate facilities. Teresa became a stockholder in 1999. Kyle D. Hemly, ASLA, CLARBSenior Associate Kyle is a licensed landscape architect whose experience includes master plans, streetscapes, public spaces, parks, monuments, urban design, and educational and training campuses. Working with the natural and built environment, Kyle creates designs reflecting the owner’s specific goals, which may include grading and storm water management, plant material selection, pressure irrigation systems and water features. Kyle joined the firm in 1997 and became a stockholder in 2000. Theodore L. Isbell, AIASenior Associate Ted earned his Bachelors and Masters in Architecture from Tulane University in New Orleans. He joined CSHQA in 2000. As a project manager, Ted has worked closely with other team members to ensure the delivery of high quality design and construction documents with organization critical to the success of his projects. Ted’s focus has been concentrated on aviation, commercial, educational and religious facilities. Ted became a CSHQA stockholder in 2002. J. Michael Brady, AIASenior Associate With many years of architectural design, project and team management experience, Michael has managed a variety of sports, entertainment and corporate facility projects valued at over $850 million. From developing conceptual designs to project management with national and international architectural firms, Brady understands today’s design challenges, which enables him to deliver new and refreshing concepts. He joined CSHQA in 2003 and became a stockholder in 2005. Craig A. Slocum, AIACorporate Secretary - Board of Directors Craig focuses on building and maintaining relationships with clients and developers. He manages projects through the planning, design, entitlement, construction document, bidding, and construction administration phases. Craig’s diverse architectural experience includes neighborhood, community, and regional commercial/retail developments, office, financial, tenant improvements, grocery, convenience, and drug stores, fuel centers, and material handling system design nationwide. Craig has been with CSHQA since 1988 and has been a principal stockholder since 1996. James G. Murray, AIAPrincipal - Board of Directors Jim joined the firm in 1993 and has been a stockholder since 1998. His focus remains on providing unique project solutions for CSHQA’s local and national clients on a variety of projects. He manages project teams dedicated to site and building development. In addition to new project development, Jim’s strengths include working with agencies and giving presentations before private client groups and public agencies delivering concepts, resulting in holistic project support and approvals. Amy K. Dockter, PESenior Associate A licensed electrical engineer, Amy is accountable for tasks including coordinating internal staff, architects, engineers and clients. Her engineering expertise, attention to detail, organizational skills and strong people skills are critical and allow her to manage multiple priorities. She has experience with commercial and institutional projects including lighting, power distribution and systems design. Amy joined the firm in 1993 and became a stockholder in 1999. James M. Otradosky, AIASenior Associate Jim received a Masters in Architecture from Arizona State University in 1990 and Bachelors in Architecture from the University of Nebraska in 1988. Jim has concentrated on educational facilities and prototype nationwide automotive dealerships since joining CSHQA in 2000. As a project manager Jim works closely with all project team members to ensure full integration of project requirements from design through construction administration. Jim became a stockholder in 2002. Roger W. Wright, PESenior Associate Roger is a licensed civil engineer in many western states. His areas of expertise include earthwork, grading, hydrology, water systems, wastewater systems, drainage systems, public works, roads, resource management and hydroelectric projects. He leads civil-centered projects and provides innovative solutions and technical support for commercial, retail and public works projects while coordinating people and resources. Roger joined CSHQA in 1999 and became a stockholder in 2005. John D. Maulin, AIAVice President Operations Board of Directors As a principal stockholder since 1996, John takes a very hands-on approach to each of his projects. He combines creativity and technology to serve a variety of client needs. His team based philosophy and supportive management foster exceptional architecture and project management. John’s expertise includes working on large-scale projects for private industry, governmental, correctional, educational and health care clients throughout the nation. John has been with the firm since 1988. Danielle N. Weaver, AIAAssociate As a project coordinator/architect, Danielle is responsible for schematic planning, design, project team coordination, and the development of construction documents in accordance with owner and regulatory agencies. She is currently working on the Idaho State Capitol renovation and has played a vital role in a number of Lithia Motor’s projects. Danielle earned her bachelor of architecture degree from Montana State University, Bozeman, MT in 1997. Danielle joined the firm in 2000 and became a stockholder in 2007. Steven D. Benner, AIA, LEED APAssociate Steve joined the firm in 1997 and became a stockholder in 2007. As a project manager, Steve leads and coordinates the efforts of design teams on various projects and facilitates the sustainable design and development efforts for commercial, retail, and institutional building projects. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA); an accredited LEED Professional; President and Board Member, U.S. Green Building Council - Idaho Chapter; and Leader, CSHQA Green Team. Robert S. Fetterly, PE, FpEAssociate Bob joined the firm in 2005 and became a stockholder in 2007. He is a registered professional engineer specializing in mechanical and fire protection engineering, and has been lead mechanical engineer and/or project manager on various federal government and industrial contracts. He possesses an extensive range of experience including: HVAC, industrial pump, pipe, tank and structural steel design. John D. Geraud, PEAssociate John is a licensed civil engineer, and has over 15 years experience with a variety of civil engineering public works projects in the federal, municipal, and private sectors. Responsibilities have included project management and design in all phases of land development, from conception through design and construction. He has completed project plans, which included design drawings, and written specifications for taxiways, streets, water systems, sewer systems, and parking lots. John joined the firm in 2005 and became a stockholder in 2008. |
